Using this site

You can use the calculator, city pages, guides and data on this site for your own planning. Do not resell the site or present its estimates as official figures.

Estimates and advice

Estimates are based on published bylaws and may not reflect recent amendments, project-specific conditions or credits. Confirm all fees with the municipality before you rely on them. The numbers are not a quote, an assessment, or legal, financial or professional advice. The city, regional district, TransLink or school district decides the amount you owe.

Accuracy

We take rates from public bylaws and official rate pages and link to each one. Rates change, and we can miss a change or make a mistake. Each line shows whether we have checked it against the official page.

The paid report

Payments are not open yet. When they open, the price, what you get, any taxes and the refund terms will be shown before you pay.

Links to other sites

We link to city, regional, TransLink and provincial pages. We do not control those sites.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses from decisions made using these estimates. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
